A great way to improve the atmosphere of your home is by using a candle warmer to emit a pleasing fragrance that fills the room. Candle warmers are great and really safe and easy to use. Basically it is just a decorative dish that you can put different scented wax into that is warmed by a low wattage light bulb. This causes the wax to melt and give off its fragrance. When you are done with it or want to change scents, you simply pour the melted wax into its original container, wipe the dish with a paper towel, and start over with a new scent.
I don’t know about you, but I love to walk into a house that smells of fresh cookies. In fact, I regularly bake cookies with the excuse of giving the house the nice smell…well, and I like to eat them too, of course! But with a candle warmer, I can get the smell of fresh baked cookies in the house whenever I want without all the calories!
That is why I am getting into scentsy candles. Scentsy makes all kinds of decorative candle warmers along with several different fragrances to choose from. They also carry room sprays and car candles. I have a friend of mine that turned me on to Scentsy and I love it. In fact, I plan to become one of their consultants as well! Although, I must admit, I am really looking forward to getting my starter kit with all the samples to try.
Scentsy also has several different warmers to choose from. They carry many different designs that range from the simple to the elaborate. Just a few days ago from this writing, they even distributed a new pumpkin warmer for the Halloween season. I’m pretty sure you can find one that will fit into just about any house décor.
As a Scentsy consultant, I will be selling the warmers as well as the scents. My plan is to show it to all of my friends and family, as well as take it to work and just let it try to sell itself. I know that when I stepped into my friends house and smelled her Thunderstorm fragrance, I had to ask what it was. That was basically how I got hooked! Hopefully my friends and family will do the same and I can make a little money with this as well!
I have also started up a scentsy candles blog about it to try and chronicle how this little experiment goes. It should be fun and hopefully enlightening. In case some other future Scentsy consultants come across it, maybe I can offer a little insight to them after I have gotten going.
