How to Fit Coving

  •  
  • 1. The first step is to find what the projection and the depth the coving should be fitted at
  •  
  • 2. Adjust your mitre box accordingly
  •  
  • 3. With a sharp hand saw cut your first corner, then your second corner
  •  
  • 4. Offer these two pieces up together to make sure they match
  •  
  • 5. Mix up some joint filler
  •  
  • 6. Then butter up both edges of the coving using a trowel
  •  
  • 7. Fix this to the wall using drywall screws and a screw gun temporarily
  •  
  • 8. Do the same with the other piece, not forgetting the internal
  •  
  • 9. Offer this up to the other piece and fix with screws
  •  
  • 10. Make sure to clean off joint filler with tools
  •
